About National Bee
National Bee Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization that strives to engage k-12 students of all ability levels and backgrounds to improve fluency with Numbers and operations through Numbers Bee. The primary goals of National Bee are to help students feel more confident about their math skills and to help them form more positive attitudes toward the subject of math through Numbers Bee games.
For more than 20 years National Bee Inc. in cooperation with Vel Micro Works DBA NumbersBee.com has provided free licenses to tens of thousands of students in Red Clay Consolidated, Christina School Districts and other schools in Delaware.
Starting in 2014, NumbersBee.com and National Bee Inc. are teaming up to provide over 80% discount of the annual licensing fee for students in schools who want to improve their numeracy.

Attracting students to mathematics and technology while also teaching useful skills is no easy feat in elementary, middle and high schools. Numbers Bee is a computer-based interactive and educational resource that not only motivates students on an individual basis to better themselves, but also offers the excitement of competition. This competition incentive and the levels of increasingly challenging material have kept students hooked on the Numbers Bee well into their middle school years, the very time where students’ engagement and motivation in school normally decline due to peer influences. It is well known that lack of arithmetic skills, especially in fractions, prevents students from pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Numbers Bee provides the necessary foundational mathematical skills and confidence for students who may choose to pursue STEM careers.
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve Numeracy. We have created a fun game with numbers that can be played by anyone. The game has been enjoyed by tens of thousands of students, parents and teachers for over 20 years in school districts in Delaware. In an effort to extend the reach of the game, we created an interactive Game Show App that can be played by anyone with smart phone.

Our Story
How We Got Started
As a parents, we created a game called Numerix in disc format to sell it. We modify the game in to NumbersBee.com in web format donated to school districts and run tournament for children in Delaware school district last 17 years.
We own NCCC Swim with the shark tournament. Wilmington university created a TV show for us. No connection to media it did not go that far.
With new technology we created an App now.
Where We Are Now
We created NumberBee App is an interactive, live-streaming math puzzle game where you compete with other players to improve number sense. Every day, we host a Live Match with a live host.
